Web28 jun. 2009 · Today I shot Wolf 60gr and got keyholing. I did a bullet diameter test this evening and the Wolf 60gr was sloppy in the barrel while my other types of 5.45 did seem to fit properly at the end of the barrels. The ammo definitely is of different sizes comparing one manufacturer to the other. Web23 feb. 2014 · The rifle is sighted in at 50 yards with crosman premier domes from the box. When I fired the first shot from a clean barrel, I watched my pellet hit the X ring, I thought Oh yea, I am going to like this! The next pellet hit the 8 ring (a 2 inch black) and for the next 30 pointed pellets, I never even touched the black again.

Web26 mei 2010 · After about 250 rounds of CCI Blazer, the bullets started keyholing. It was a very quick onset. One magazine went perfectly fine and the next one and every subsequent one keyholed. After 20-30 rounds of non-stop keyholing I called it a day and left. The guy at the range said a dirty barrel is probably the cause of the keyholing. It this possible?
